Initial Chat

We start with a conversation about your project! This includes imagery, copy, quantity, and color. These components will help us understand your vision and provide an estimate.

Quote & Timeline

Next is a quote and timeline for your project. The quote is comprised of 3 main factors: Design, Pre-press (everything involved in the set-up), and Printing.

Deposit & Contract

The design fee acts as a nonrefundable deposit in the event your order is canceled before production. At this stage, we will also send a contract that explains the finer details of our process.

Digital Mock-up

Once we have the deposit, we will begin on a digital mock-up that we can revise until we are ready to print.

Approval & Print

With your approval, we move on to production and print!

Custom Work Inquiry Form

Each job is unique and we typically do not work from templates so it can be difficult to give an accurate estimate. However, if you provide us with a ballpark quantity and number of colors, we will do our best to give you a rough quote.

The quote is comprised of 3 main factors: Design, pre-press, and printing.

We charge a flat rate design fee of $500. This includes two revisions. Additional revisions will be charged hourly.
Pre-press means everything involved in the set-up. This includes an hourly carving rate and materials. If we do not hand carve the imagery, we outsource the production of plates that we can use in our presses to print the final design. Plates are used when the detail is too fine to hand carve. This comes in handy for logos or wedding invitations.
Lastly, the printing fee is determined by the quantity and number of colors. We print one at a time, one color at a time.

Because a majority of time & energy is spent on the design, carving, and set up, we set a minimum quantity of 50 prints for any custom job.

The typical turnaround time for all custom jobs is 4-6 weeks. If our schedule is full or if a design is particularly complicated, lead time may extend.
